Shot by shot Analysis:

Long shot:

This is a long shot of the entire scene where the storyline is going to take place. This long shot shows a school so the audience can automatically think students, dilema, and all the other things you see on shows like victorious; waterloo road; and iCarly.

 Medium long shot:

 

                     

This medium long shot shows a young couple together outside one of the school blocks after school. The manly man ( Samir Farah) is putting his coat over his girlfriend ( Kajal Kang) as the typical English weather is cold. They're both looking at eachother in the eye in young love.

 Over the shoulder shot:

  As you can see, Zubair (Kajal older brother) is looking at his younger sister kissing her boyfriend of which he didn't know she has one. There is a girl standing in the corner of the shot (Ana Dakoli) who loves Samir (understandably) and is jealous of his girlfriend. 

Medium close up:

In this shot, he is going to kiss her again and she realises her brother is watching the whole thing. As you can see, her face is in shock and she is very scared of her brother's wrath!

Extreme close up:

In this shot, Zubair is looking at the two of them with a very angry facial expression. The shot is zoomed in close to give a very tense atmosphere as you can closely see his face and almost invision what is going on in his brain.

 Medium close up:

This shot shows Zubair grabbing Samir by the colar pressing his body against the wall. Again, Ana is in the corner watching the whole thing smirking in joy at her loves despair.

 

 Over the shoulder shot:

Ana is filming the whole thing, watching her love being embarrased by the overpowering Zubair. You can see the shot is being taken over Ana's shoulder. She is probably going to upload this video to whatever social networks the youth of today use and what not to get back at Samir for turning down her love for Kajal.          

Advert analysis- GTA 5

Language:

The most noticiable thing on the cover is the gangster written 'grand theft auto' which indicates through the language that very thuggish acts/behaviour is going to go on in this game as we relate theft to that of thugs and other criminals however the pictures on the side resemble gangsters and thugs. Aslo, the 18 at the bottom means the institution has informed everyone that this game is not suitable for those aged under 18 as the content is adult material.

Institution:

The GTA series what created by; David Jones, Dan Houser, Sam Houser, Michael Daily, and Zachary Clarke. However it is owned by Rockstar North Ltd which is owned by Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. which is owned by Strauss Zelnick but was founded by Ryan Brant. GTA 5 is exclusive to X box and playstation 3. IGN rated the game 10 and is joint highest rated game on metacritic of all time. The game was a huge success as in the first week alone of its release sold more than all the GTA's combined. It saled past 15 million units in the first week.

Audience:

The target audience of GTA 5 are mostly dominated by males and 13 - 28 year olds even though 13 is below the age you're supposed to play it is very appealing for the young adolesents to break the rules and are anxious to know the life of the elder adolesents. As GTA 5 was quite cheap at its release, I would suggest that the game may be targetted at the working class boys that are not dominated by a certain race or age within the age range above as it is hugely popular with all of them

Summer Project

FruitBowl

My wonderful fruit bowl was inspired by colour. I tried to make my fruit bowl super colourful and splatty as that symbolises the bright future i have in store for me. I tried to vary the colour as the top of the background is mostly the upper side of the rainbow, and the bottom half is the lower side of the rainbow. I made the middle background a mix of both and a nice colourful fruit bowl to finish it off.
